Sunday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Happy Sunday Central Oregon!

We woke up to a dusting of snow for parts of the region, and it looks like there is a chance we could see some more snow showers tonight and Monday as well.

Today we saw highs top out in the upper 30s to low 40s for the high desert.

We still have a winter weather warning that’s in place for the western slopes of the Cascades overnight tonight, so you can expect to see winter driving condition over the mountain passes if you are planning to travel over passes for the holiday weekend.

Tonight on the High Desert we will see temperatures dip down into the low 30s with chances for rain and snow showers.

Tomorrow things look to start off on the dry side, but then it looks like we are going to see wide spread precipitation across the region in the afternoon.

Snow is likely for much of Deschutes County, while a rain snow mix is likely in Crook and Jefferson Counties until the evening when we may see that turn over to snow.

Highs tomorrow will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.

It doesn’t look like we are going to get snow showers on Christmas Day but we could see some come Wednesday.

The rest of the week will see highs in the 40s and cold overnight lows, but it looks like things will dry out as we head into the end of the week.

Have a great rest of your weekend Central Oregon!
