Saturday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Happy Saturday Central Oregon!

A pleasant day today on the High Desert, where we saw warmer temperatures and some sunny skies out there from time to time.

It looks like that will be changing though as we head into the overnight hours.

This evening we will start to see chances for rain showers developing here in Central Oregon, and maybe even some snow showers in the upper elevations,

Overnight lows will be in the upper 20s to mid to low 30s for the region.

We are also expecting to see windy conditions out there overnight as well out of the south at 15-20 MPH with gusts up around 30s MPH.

We could wake up to some slick spots out there on the roadways with rain showers that are expected to move through the area.

Tomorrow temperatures will not warm up all that much with highs in the mid to upper 30s to low 40s for the region.

Sunday afternoon it looks like we could see a few passing snow showers move across the High Desert, but it doesn’t look like we will see much accumulation from those snow showers if they do develop.

Those showers should move out of the region fairly quickly as well, and by Sunday evening we could see partly cloudy skies making way for a much clearer and colder New Year’s Eve.

Temperatures on Monday are set to top out in the 30s.

New Years day looks like more of the same with cold temperatures once again in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Have a great rest of your Weekend Central Oregon!
