Saturday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening Central Oregon!

We are starting to see some showers pop up across the region, and it looks like we could see some snow showers overnight.

We will start to see rain out there across the High Desert, but overnight we will see that rain turn over to snow and have pretty wide spread snow showers.

Overnight we will see temps right at or just about the freezing mark for the region which means we could see some accumulation overnight.

Things look to clear up early in the morning on Sunday, highs will be in the upper 30s to low 40s.

Then we could see the return of the snow showers in the evening and overnight into Monday.

There is also a winter weather advisory in place for the western slopes of the Cascades.

If you are headed over the passes for this holiday weekend you can expect winter driving conditions as the passes could see 6-8 inches of new snow in the next 24 hours.

Monday afternoon it looks like things will star to dry up across the region with partly sunny skies and highs in the low 40s.

We will start to see a warming trend as we make our way through the week with highs in the upper 40s to low 5os.

Enjoy your weekend Central Oregon!
