Local Alert Weather, Mon. AM, 2.18.19
Good Monday Morning, Everyone…
Overcast skies and snow flurries this morning will graduate into some partial clearing this afternoon. Our average high for this date is 47 degrees. A strong northerly flow will keep us over 10 degrees below our average. Highs will be in the mid 30’s and northerly winds will be gentle at 5-10 mph. Skies will be mostly cloudy tonight. With light and variable winds our lows will drop into the teens.
While our temperatures are expected to stay cold all week the next wintery system won’t press in until late Tuesday. Snow is likely through Wednesday and into Wednesday night. This storm has the potential to put over a foot of new snow in the Cascades, but only an inch or two is expected here. We will get another break Friday. More clouds and a chance of snow showers will push in for the weekend ahead.
