A snowmobiler on Friday found alive a 36-year-old Sunriver-area man who was last seen last Sunday and who enjoys off-roading in the woods west of Sunriver, Deschutes County sheriff’s deputies said.

Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team members had not reached him yet, but Bailey said they were told he’s hungry.

More details are to be released later Friday, Bailey added.

The Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office snowmobile team was west of Sunriver on Thursday, looking in the snow for a 36-year-old Sunriver-area man last seen last Sunday, gassing up an SUV in the resort community.

Jeremy R. Taylor was last seen last Sunday getting gas and driving a black 2000 Toyota 4Runner with Oregon license plate BRNH, Sgt. William Bailey said Thursday.

Taylor is known to usually wear black pants and a black jacket, but his clothing at the time is unknown. He’s also not believed to have a cellphone with him, Bailey said.

Taylor frequents the woods west of Sunriver, where he enjoys off-roading. But his plans for Sunday are not known.
