Bend Chamber names 2019 Women of the Year Awards nominees
The Bend Chamber has just announced its 2019 nominees for thes Women of the Year Awards, sponsored by U.S. Bank, a celebration of the achievements and contributions of the women of Central Oregon.
“U.S. Bank is proud to return as a continuing sponsor for the Bend Chamber Women of the Year Awards which recognizes women for both their personal accomplishments and for their unique contributions to our Central Oregon community. This event is just simply important to us. We all come from many places, cultures, and backgrounds with a wealth of different skills and experiences.

“This year, a record number of nominations were submitted, which is a testament to the scope and scale of women’s impact on our communities, businesses and daily lives,” said Robin Rogers, Bend Chamber Director of Programs. “We hope you can join us as we learn about these remarkable women and spend an evening celebrating at the awards ceremony on April 4,” she added. After a rigorous judging process, the winner of each award category will be determined and announced at the awards ceremony. The emcee this year is Moe Carrick: 2016 Woman of the Year recipient, author, consultant, facilitator and founder of Moementum.
This year, free professional child care services will be offered during the event. Attendees can register in advance if they would like to bring their children.
