Local Alert Weather – Fri. PM
Happy Friday evening, everyone!
High pressure is taking control of our weather pattern and as a result we’re seeing dry conditions and mild temperatures. Overnight we’ll see mostly clear to clear skies and lows in the teens and lower 20s. Winds will be calm out of the southeast. We’ll be off to a cold, calm, frosty start tomorrow morning.
Saturday begins with some sunshine and cold temperatures. Highs will eventually climb into the low to mid 50s, which is around average. Winds will gust around 10 miles per hour. Expect an increase in clouds in the afternoon, but still mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will be overhead.
Into St. Patrick’s Day we will stay dry and mild. Highs will be slightly cooler in the upper 40s and lower 50s. Mostly sunny skies will be overhad. Make sure you wear green!
The beginning of next week will see more of the same sunshine and temperatures in the 50s. Tuesday will see slightly more cloud cover as the ridge of high pressure backs off.
Spring begins Wednesday and we’ll see mostly cloudy skies with average highs in the mid 50s. Chances for rain showers develop by Thursday.
Have a happy & safe holiday weekend!
