Local Alert Weather, Thu. AM, 3-21-19
Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…
A strong SW flow from that big storm in California will bring a chance of rain showers to the high desert all day today. Westerly and SW breezes will be gentle at 5-10 mph and daytime highs will reach the low 50’s. Scattered evening showers will break up and leave us under mostly cloudy skies tonight. Overnight lows will dip to freezing and a bit below as breezes turn light out of the south.
Skies will stay mostly cloudy Friday and deliver a modest chance of some isolated showers. Clouds will thicken Friday night when more rain is likely. Those showers will taper off a bit Saturday and highs will only reach the mid to upper 40’s. Warmer temps and clearer skies return, but unfortunately, that doesn’t last long. The next system moves in Monday and brings a chance of showers beginning Monday afternoon that will last through the middle of the week.
