Happy Thursday evening, everyone!

Overnight we’ll see skies gradually break up as we get a break in the weather. We could see a few sprinkles tonight before the clouds give way to partly cloudy to mostly clear skies. Low temperatures will fall into the upper 20s and lower 30s , which is slightly above average. Winds will be out of the southeast around 10 miles per hour.

Friday begins on a dry note with mostly sunny skies. By the afternoon clouds will be rolling into Central Oregon and the chance for rain showers will shortly follow. A cold front overnight into Saturday will kick showers ahead of it with breezy winds gusting around 15 to 20 miles per hour. Daytime highs will reach the low to mid 50s , which is around average.

Rain shower chances extend into the first part of our weekend. Overall, Saturday will be dry, but we could see a few leftover showers behind the passing cold front. Temperatures will be slightly cooler on Saturday topping out in the upper 40s and lower 50s . Winds will be blustery from time to time on Saturday.

Snow levels will be low enough that the ski areas see snow showers, but the mountain passes shouldn’t see more than spots of ice or slushy conditions. Snow levels will be high enough that Central Oregon won’t see snow showers, although areas at elevations around 4,100 ‘ could see a few snow showers mixed in overnight into Saturday.

Overnight into Sunday we’ll see our skies gradually clear again. Sunday will see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. Daytime highs will be in the low to mid 50s , which is around average. Enjoy the sunshine before the next chance for rain showers develops.
