Monday PM Local Alert Weather Forecast

KTVZ

Good evening and happy Monday!

A wet and rainy day across the High Desert, a big change from what we saw just 24 hours ago.

We have seen a big cool down in the past 24 hours, as we are about 10 degrees cooler in some spots on the high desert for Monday compared to Sunday.

Today we saw rain showers through much of the day, and temperatures topped out in the low to mid 50s.

Overnight we are looking at those showers hanging around, and lows will drop down into the upper 30s to low 40s.

For Tuesday much of the same as those rain showers are going to hang around and we will once again see highs in the 50s.

It looks like we will start to see the showers break up in the later afternoon early evening of Tuesday and may way for some dryer conditions.

Wednesday looks to be dry, with mostly cloudy skies overhead, although we could see a passing shower.

Temperatures on Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 50s.

By Thursday we will start to see the chance for rain start to increase again, and by Friday it looks likely that we will see widespread rain showers once again.
