KTVZ

Happy Thursday evening, everyone!

Rain showers will push back into the region tonight, so expect some wet roads tomorrow morning. We’ll see mostly cloudy skies apart from the showers. Temperatures remain above average and mild in the mid to upper 30s and lower 40s. Winds will be blustery and gust around 5 to 10 miles per hour.

The arrival of the next wave of showers rolls through the area during the second half of the day Friday. We’ll see snow levels starting around 5,700′ in the morning then falling to 3,700′ for the end of the day. Temperatuers will be a little cooler in the mid to upper 40s and lower 50s. Winds will be gusty and top 25 to 30 miles per hour.

Showers kick up around lunchtime Friday then become broken through the overnight. Low temperatures under partly cloudy to mostly clear skies will be cold in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Saturday will start with some dry time, but looks to see a chance for showers in the afternoon. Winds will be gusty Saturday as well. Overnight into Sunday we see the rain return.

Mt. Bachelor will see some snow out of these systems. We look to see about 9″ on the ground between tonight and Saturday morning. Keep in mind we’ll see some snow and slushy conditions on the roads and mountain passes as well.

Sunday looks to be much more rainy than Saturday. Heavy rain pushes in by the end of the day and we continue to see windy conditions. High temperatures will reach the mid to upper 50s bringing us back to average.

Monday begins with rain showers and temperatuers in the mid to upper 50s. Every day next week carries a chance for showers. We see temperatures trend below average once we get to Tuesday.
