Happy Friday evening, everyone!

Tonight we’ll see a brief clearing behind a passing front out to the east. We’ll look to see partly cloudy skies with chances for showers already by the morning. Overnight lows will be some of the coldest temperatures we’ve seen this week in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Winds will be breezy gusting 10 to 15 miles per hour.

Saturday morning begins with chances for showers already and we’ll have showers across the Cascades and out east.Temperatures will be cool in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Showers become scattered in the afternoon, but winds will also be gusty. Winds will top around 45 to 50 miles per hour as the next system makes its way into Central Oregon. High temperatures will be in the low to mid 50s, which is slightly below average and a little warmer than we were for today.

If you are planning on going skiing or snowboarding this weekend I would make sure you check conditions and lift statuses before you cruise up the hill. Winds will be gusting around 60 miles per hour in the Cascades with wet snow falling.

We see a brief break from the showers overnight into Sunday. Temperatues will be in the upper 30s and lower 40s.

Sunday will be another wet one with showers all day and steady rain the in second half of the day. Snow levels will be around 7,200′ Sunday morning, so we can expect a mild start with rain showers. Highs for Sunday warm around average in the mid to upper 50s. Winds will also be gusty around 30 miles per hour.

Monday will start on a rainy note with showers hanging around leftover from the weekend. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s, which is average for this time of year. Showers look to be more scattered by Tuesday. Temperatures will cool into the upper 40s and lower 50s for the middle of next week.
