Local Alert Weather, Mon. AM, 4-15-19

KTVZ

Good Monday Morning Everyone…

The rapid passage of a fairly weak cold front will thicken our clouds today and give us a good chance of seeing some late day rain showers. Highs will be in the upper 40’s to low 50’s and breezes generally out of the south will be gentle at 5-10 mph. Rain showers will continue through much of the night. Lows will be in the low to mid 30’s so some areas may see some snow mixed with the rain. Breezes turn NW at 5-10 mph.

While today will be a bit on the chilly side, we will see a warming trend that will take us into the warmest temps we have seen so far this year. We are anticipating the mid 70’s Thursday and around 70 Friday. Look for a variable cloud cover throughout the week, but we will be staying dry. Temperatures will be in the upper 50’s for the weekend ahead, something a little more average for this time of year. We will also see more sunshine all weekend long.
