Redmond road closures, delays: Week of April 29
Here is a list of Redmond’s planned road closures and delays for the week of April 29-May 3:
City Street Maintenance Operations:
Monday, April 29 thru May 3 – Starting at 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the following traffic disruptions will take place.
Crack seal operations will be commencing throughout the City; activities may temporarily disrupt lanes and intersections.
Herbicide application to roadside vegetation will be occurring on local streets; lane disruptions and slowed traffic may occur.
ADA Street Improvement projects and curb ramp enhancements will be occurring at local intersections; activities may temporarily disrupt lanes and intersections.
NOTE – During street maintenance operations, closure durations and disruptions are determined by progress of the operation and weather conditions.

SW 9 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave – Closed for construction Monday, April 29 thru Friday, May 10
SW 9 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave will be closed while construction activities related to the Centennial Park Expansion occur. Please use detours or an alternate route.
SW Forest Ave and SW 8 th St – Closed for construction Monday, April 29 thru Thursday, May 2
The intersection of SW Forest Ave and SW 8 th St will be closed while Grizzly Mountain Excavation crews complete storm drain connections, repair asphalt, and curbing. Please use detours or an alternate route.
Ongoing Closures:
SW 8 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave – Intermittent closures for construction
SW 8 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Deschutes Ave will be closed intermittently while construction activities related to the Centennial Park Expansion occur. Please use detours or an alternate route.
SW 6 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Forest Ave – Traffic disruptions and sidewalk closures for construction
SW 6 th St from SW Evergreen Ave to SW Forest Ave will experience intermittent lane and sidewalk closures as SunWest Builders performs construction activities for the Historic Redmond Hotel. Business access will be available. Please use caution or an alternate route.
SW Metolius Ave from SW 23rd St to SW 27th St – Closed for construction thru Friday, May 24, 2019
SW Metolius Ave from SW 23rd St to SW 27th St will be closed while Rickabaugh Construction installs sewer and water mains, curbs, sidewalks, and asphalt paving. Local access for residents will be permitted form SW 27th St. Please use detours or an alternate route.
NW Spruce Ave from NW 22 nd St to NW 19 th St – Closed for construction thru Tuesday, May 7
NW Spruce Ave from NW 22 nd St to NW 19 th St will be closed while Jack Robinson & Sons constructs the City of Redmond’s Far Wester Sewer Interceptor project. This closure includes the intersection of NW 22 nd St and NW Spruce Ave. Please use detours or an alternate route.
South Canal Improvement Project:
SW Veterans Way to SW Salmon Ave – South Canal Blvd from SW Veterans Way to SW Salmon Ave is open to thru traffic. Minor traffic disruptions may occur at SW Pumice Ave as crews complete a pedestrian crossing and curbing. Please use caution and follow work zone traffic control signs.
