Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM
Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
Winds will stay breezy tonight gusting 25 miles per hour. Overnight winds will be around 10 to 15 miles per hour and we’ll see mostly clear skies. Low temperatures will be chilly, but not too cold in the upper 30s and lower 40s.
Wednesday brings stronger wind gusts and a few more clouds in the second half of the day. Winds will top around 30 miles per hour out of the north. High temperatures will still be in the low to mid 70s. Thursday will be nearly the exact same, but with fewer clouds. Winds will still be gusty.
By Friday winds will calm and our skies will be sunny. High temperatures will be in the mid to upper 70s, which is more than 10 degrees above normal.
As a reminder, waters are still quite cold in the 40s and 50s, which could lead to shock. The warm sun will quickly dehydrate you, so make sure you’re drinking plenty of water! And of course wear your sunscreen 😉
This weekend will be feeling much more like summer than the second week of May. Highs will be in the mid 80s with calmer winds. Mostly sunny skies are expected with a few clouds developing Sunday. Winds will be slightly breezier on Sunday, but not too gusty.
