Local Alert Weather, Wed. AM, 5-8-19
Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone…
As high pressure ever so gradually advances on the NW we will see another sunny, mild day on the High Desert. We will likely see a few high, thin clouds across the region later today, but no threat of any showers. Highs will be in the mid 70’s. Winds will be out of the north and NW at 5-15 mph with gusts to 20 mph. Breezes will stay gusty tonight. Look for lows in the low 40’s with mostly clear skies.
We will stay a little breezy Thursday, but with the full arrival of that ridge of high pressure we are also expecting more sunshine. Highs will be in the mid 70’s once again. That high pressure center will stay put, so we are expecting sunny skies to stay with us through the weekend and into next week. The real warm up begins Friday with highs approaching 80 degrees. The trend will continue into the weekend with highs Saturday and Sunday reaching the mid 80’s. We will drop back to around 80 Monday and back down to the mid 70’s Tuesday when the next storm system approaches the Pacific NW. We will see partly cloudy skies Tuesday with a chance of some late day rain showers.
