Local Alert Weather – Wed. PM
Happy Wednesdsay evening, everyone!
Tonight winds will stay breezy and gusty at times arouns 25 miles per hour out of the north. For the prescribed burns and brushfires we will see smoke move towards the south. Temperatures will cool quickly tonight into the 50s around midnight. Skies will clear overnight going into tomorrow. Low temperatures will bottom out in the upper 30s and lower 40s, which will be chilly.
Thursday will be our windiest day of the week with winds gusting around 30 miles per hour out of the north in the afternoon. Sunshine will be overhead all day and we can look to see temperatures in the low to mid 50s.
Overnight into Friday we’ll be in the mid to upper 70s. Winds will calm and Friday will be beautifully sunny! More of the same is on tap for Saturday. Highs will be a little warmer though in the low to mid 80s.
Mother’s Day looks to be lovely with highs in the low to mid 80s and mostly sunny skies. We’ll see some breezy conditions at times with winds gusting around 20 miles per hour.
The ridge of high pressure breaks down by the beginning of next week and we’ll see changes with cooler temperatures and a chance for rain by Tuesday.
