Local Alert Weather – Fri. PM
Happy Friday evening, everyone!
Winds will stay gusty through sunset tonight topping 25 to 30 miles per hour. Skies will be partly cloudy overhead this evening. Grab a coat if you’re heading out for your Friday night, but leave the rain coat at home! We’ll be dry until midday tomorrow. Under partly cloudy skies low temperatures will be in the low to mid 30s, so bundle up early in the morning!
Saturday morning begins with temperatures around the freezing mark and slightly above. We’ll see some blue skies, but clouds will quickly roll into Central Oregon. Layer up in the morning, but in the afternoon we’ll see more mild temperatures. Highs will peak slightly below average in the low to mid 60s. Chances for showrs pick up by the early afternoon and we should see light rain across the area for Saturday evening. Winds will be gusty at times in the afternoon around 20 miles per hour.
Mt. Bachelor starts the weekend with cold temperatures in the 30s, which will make for fast runs and trails for the 2019 SELCO Pole Pedal Paddle. You’ll want to bundle up in the morning.
Heading into Sunday we see shower chances stay with us. Temperatures look to be cooler as well topping out in the mid to upper 50s. Expect more of a gray, rainy day on Sunday with calmer winds.
The beginning of next week is off to a chilly start with highs staying in the 50s. We see a chance for rain showers Monday and Tuesday. By Wednesday winds will be picking up bringing us changes for the second half of the week. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s. Shower chances will end as well.
Have a happy & safe weekend!
