Local Alert Weather – Tues. PM
Happy Tuesday evening, everyone!
We’ve seen thunderstorms across Central Oregon this afternoon and evening. These storms will likely include hail, heavy rains, strong wind gusts, thunder, and lightning. Remember when you hear thunders to head indoors immediately. The chance for storms continues until just past sunset, then we lose our daytime heating and will see partly cloudy skies. Low temperatures will be mild in the low to mid 40s, which is a few degrees above normal.
Wednesday will be off to a dry, mostly sunny start. We’ll see another summer-like day with a calm morning followed by afternoon clouds increasing and chance for thunderstorms. Again with moisture being pulled in from the southeast we have a good chance for storms tomorrow. Highs will be warm in the mid 70s, which is about 5 degrees above normal. Winds will gust around 15 miles per hour, but will be stronger in the thunderstorms.
Thursday sees more of the same weather pattern, but more clouds to begin the day. Thunderstorm chances pick up in the afternoon and look to extend until the evening. Highs will be in the mid 70s as well.
