Happy First day of June!
Lingering moisture and some instability in a weak upper level system is giving us up to a slight chance
of scattered showers and thunderstorms across Central Oregon in the evenings through the weekend.
Bend, Sisters and La Pine have the highest chance of seeing isolated showers and thunderstorms as we make our way through the weekend.
We’ll see temperatures continue to go up over the next few days before we see them cool off just a bit starting Monday.
You can expect winds out of the north to continue through the weekend, reaching up to 11 mph before they begin to calm down a bit heading into Monday.
Saturday’s highs range from the high 70s in La Pine, Sunriver and Bend to the low 80s across the rest of Central Oregon.
Saturday overnight lows range from the high 40s in La Pine, Sunriver, Sisters, Redmond and Prineville to the mid 50s in Bend, Madras and Warm Springs.The weak upper level system will make its way out of the area by Monday, when our temperatures will begin to cool off just a bit and bring the highs back into the high 70s for most of next week.
