Local Alert Weather – Mon. PM

KTVZ

Happy Monday evening, everyone!

Tonight we’ll see a few clouds overhead and mild temperatures. Winds will be about 15 miles per hour tonight out of the north, so most of the smoke from the prescribed burn near Sunriver will be moving south. Overnight low temperatures will be in the low to mid 40s.

Dry conditions last for the next few days across Central Oregon. Temperatures will stay warm through Wednesday, but then we look to see big changes. Highs will be in the upper 70s and lower 80s for Tuesday and Wednesday. We’ll see a few more clouds overhead on Wednesday. Winds will be breezy gusting around 20 miles per hour.

By Thursday we’ll notice big changes, which means temperatures in the mid to upper 50s and lower 60s and more clouds. Our average daytime high is 73 degrees at the Redmond Airport. Thursday and Friday have a slight chance for showers.

The coldest day of the week looks like it will be Friday. Temperatures won’t be getting out of the 50s.

Looking ahead to the weekend we’ll be in the low to mid 60s. Highs will be below normal until Sunday. Mostly sunny skies will be overhead. By Monday we’ll be back into the 80s with another warming trend in store for next week.
