It is the first day of summer as the season officially kicks off at 8:54 this morning.

We are going to get summer off to a cool start though things will be a bit warmer for your Friday then what we saw for yesterday.

Today highs are set to top out in the mid to upper 60s on the High Desert.

We are likely going to continue to see partly cloudy skies and a windy afternoon.

Winds are going to be out of the north at 5-10 MPH and we could see gust up around 20 MPH.

Overnight lows will drop down into the upper 30s to 40s.

We do start to warm up as we head into the weekend.

Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s on Saturday, but we are once again looking at gusty winds.

Winds will be out of the north at 5-15 MPH gusting up around 20 MPH.

Sunday looks to be a bit cooler than Saturday with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s.
