Coastal in Redmond giving away kids’ life jackets

Coastal is giving away 300 life jackets for children this Saturday in Redmond starting at 11 a.m.

“Anytime you’re on the water even when it feels safe, wearing a life jacket is so important,” said Coastal owner Buzz Wheeler. “We’re making sure Central Oregon families are as safe as possible when they’re on the water this summer.”

The free life jackets are available for children ages 12 and under. There are three different sizes available and children must be present with a parent to receive their life jacket.

The life jackets will be available on a first come, first served basis until all three hundred have been distributed.

“Coastal is 100% Oregon owned and operated so it’s really important to us to support the people and communities we serve here,” said Wheeler.

Coastal’s Redmond store is located at 3141 South Highway 97.
