Give your Mt. Bachelor visit an educational twist this summer

Discover Your Forest, the Deschutes National Forest’s non-profit partner, invites you to enjoy Forest Service Volunteer Ranger patio talks at Mt. Bachelor through mid-September.

The talks begin Saturday, June 29, and will continue until Sept. 1. Ranger patio talks are given 7 days a week at 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. at Pine Marten Lodge Deck.

Additionally, Discover Your Forest will be extending the season by offering the patio talks
September 6-8 at 11:45 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. and finishing the following weekend, September 13-15, with programs at 11:45 a.m. & 1:30 p.m.

The 30-minute program features information about volcanoes and the unique geology of our area as well as the rich natural history of Central Oregon.

Program is FREE with purchase of a chairlift ticket to Pine Marten Lodge. No reservations are required.
