Local Alert Weather, Thu. AM, 9-5-19

KTVZ

Good Thursday Morning, Everyone…

The advance of a low pressure center from the Pacific will continue to draw storms out of the south for us today. It is quite likely that we will see rain showers and thunderstorms scattered across the region for much of the day. A fire weather warning is in place until 2:00 am Friday. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 80’s . Expect gradual clearing after midnight. Lows will be in the upper 40’s to mid 50’s .

Cooler air will settle in behind this system. With that we will see a cooling trend that will take us from very warm temps today down to the low to mid 70’s by Sunday. We will also see a very slight chance of isolated showers Saturday night and into Sunday. We will see a variable cloud cover beginning Monday and right through the middle of next week. Daytime highs next week will be staying cool; topping out in the low 70’s . Overnight lows will be in the upper 30’s to low 40’s ; something more typical for this time of year.
