-Good Monday Morning, Everyone…

While we may see a few thin clouds toward the end of the day, a modest ridge of high pressure will deliver plenty of sunshine. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s , a bit below average, and breezes will remain light and variable through much of the day. Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy tonight. Lows will be in the mid 30’s to mid 40’s . Breezes will calm this evening and stay calm through the night.

Under mostly sunny to clear skies our daytime highs will return to something more normal for this time of year Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid 70’s and overnight lows will be in the mid 40’s . Beginning Thursday, however, we will see the next system press in that will deliver a cooling trend that will stay with us through the coming weekend. Highs Saturday will be in the mid to upper 50’s and by Sunday they will be in the low 50’s . Clouds will thicken and a chance of showers will settle in Thursday night. Rain is likely from Friday afternoon through Friday night and a chance of showers will stay with us through the weekend.

The freezing level will be dropping in the cascades. A chance of showers starting Wednesday night will turn to a chance of snow showers by Thursday night. Snow in the mountains is likely from Friday through much of the weekend.
