High Desert Chamber Music receives multi-year grant from Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation
BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- High Desert Chamber Music announced Monday it has been awarded a multi-year grant in the amount of $15,000 from the Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation.
Supporting the Pacific Northwest since 1998, the foundation prioritizes grant proposals that are in service to or address education, mentorship, arts, creativity, health, and well-being in Oregon and Washington state.
They collaboratively and courageously work toward the unimagined, the undreamt, and the unrealized — in pursuit of a future that is more resilient, nurtures joy, and values every individual.
The Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation was founded by Sally and Dave Bany to celebrate the life and legacy of Marie Lamfrom, Sally’s maternal grandmother. Today, the Foundation awards more than $9,000,000 annually to Oregon and Washington state nonprofit organizations advancing arts and creativity, education and mentorship, and health and well-being.
“We are honored to be recognized by the Marie Lamfrom Charitable Foundation for the presentation of our Concert Series and Educational Outreach programs,” states Executive Director Isabelle Senger. “Garnering new and multi-year foundation support for the main focus of our organization is critical and allows us to plan diligently for the future.”
