Fog possible early with mild temperatures and more mountain snow likely

Happy Tuesday Central Oregon!  This morning pockets of dense fog and freezing fog (in some areas) are possible.  Icy and slushy roads are likely the case this morning with some mild temperatures on the way today.

A Dense Fog Advisory is in place until noon in North Central Oregon due to visibility of a 1/4 mile or less creating hazardous driving conditions it was in place in Central Oregon as well but was allowed to expire.

Later today we expect cloudy and mostly dry conditions.  Low pressure spinning off the coast of SW Oregon will continue to work its way north today and weaken, sending plumes of moisture across the PNW.  

Light spotty rain and snow showers are possible in the forecast area with snow accumulations up to around 2 inches possible above 4.5k ft -5k ft in the mountains and more snow is expected in the Cascades through midweek.

Wind will be out of the South in the 10-15mph range with gusts as high as 20 mph likely in some areas.

Highs will be in the upper 40s and low 50s and overnight lows will return to the 20s.
