DENVER (AP) — The oldest son of U.S. Rep. Lauren Boebert is suspected of being part of a group of friends who used credit cards stolen from cars to make purchases at gas stations and McDonald’s. Court documents released Wednesday say 18-year-old Tyler Boebert was identified after being spotted in surveillance video at a gas station when one of the stolen cards was used for a purchase by someone else in his group. It says Tyler Boebert was wearing a hoodie from his mother’s former restaurant. A public defender representing him has not commented publicly on the case. Lauren Boebert said it breaks her heart to see her child struggling but she will never give up on him.
