$1 million higher price tag for planned new Art Station at Larkspur Park prompts Bend Park Board pushback

Nearly a year ago, the Bend Parks and Rec Board voted to build a new Art Station at Larkspur Park for about $3 million. Now, the building, which would house art classes and programs, is estimated to cost more than $4 million. The park district says the project is still moving forward, but they are looking at ways to cut costs.
