Two NATO members say Russian drones have violated their airspace
KYIV, Ukraine (AP) — Two NATO members say that Russian drones have violated their airspace, as one reportedly flew into Romania during nighttime attacks on neighboring Ukraine while another crashed in eastern Latvia on Saturday. A drone entered Romanian territory early on Sunday as Moscow struck “civilian targets and port infrastructure” across the Danube River in Ukraine, Romania’s Ministry of National Defense reported. Later that day, Latvian authorities said that a Russian drone fell on Saturday near Rezekne, a town some 55 kilometers west of the Russian border. There were no reports of casualties or damage in either case.
