Quiet and chilly pattern ahead

Today will be mostly sunny as the cold front that pushed through yesterday scoured out a good deal of the low level mist and fog.  The rain and snow from yesterday are also well east, but there may be a few lingering snow showers today along the crest of the Cascades.  Highs today will be in the upper 30s to low 40s as today will be defined as quiet.  Winds will be on the light side, but noticeable at times with some gusts near 15 mph. Temps tonight will dip to the upper teens and low 20s.

Sunday will also be dry and mostly sunny.  Temperatures will be a few degrees cooler than Saturday as the mercury in the thermometer will top out in the upper 30s. Again, a light breeze is expected, but not too imposing.

Monday will be cold again with highs in the middle to upper 30s. Winds on will be light and variable under partly cloudy skies. The resorts will be enjoying pleasant run of sunny skies and blue bird days.

The rest of the week will be quiet and dry with temperatures rising into the low 40s on Tuesday. Breezy winds from the south will be the most noticeable difference from Monday, but only at around 10 mph.

Wednesday and Thursday will see the mercury in the thermometer rise into the middle 40s under mostly sunny skies. Friday may see a few more clouds and slightly cooler conditions
