Spotty showers and mountain snow return this week, dry by Wednesday

A weak system is approaching the coast and should provide some light showers Tuesday.  I am not anticipating much precipitation, just mostly cloudy skies and a passing shower.  The mountains will get a few more inches of snow from this round, then another weak area of low pressure pushes into the area Wednesday.

The low on Wednesday will not be very robust either and therefore I, once again, expect to see only light rain and snow.  This round is going to end by the middle of the day, so a quick shot of lower elevation rain and some high level snow will define this event well.

Temperatures through the middle of the week will hover around the upper 40s and low 50s along with the clouds and sunshine.  Thursday through Sunday will stay dry and partly to mostly sunny.

A noticeable warming trend begins Friday with highs in the middle 50s under sunny skies.  Saturday will see the mercury reach the low 60s before clouds arrive Sunday ahead of rain showers Monday. Temperatures will top out in the middle to upper 50s Sunday and Monday.

Please stay safe.
