Few more days of warm temps before we cool down
Temperatures were pleasantly mild today, reaching the upper 60s to low 70s.
Prescribed burns are scheduled for today and may continue into Friday if conditions allow. We'll mainly see the impacts in southern Deschutes County, but you may want to keep your windows and doors closed.
Skies stay mostly clear overnight with lows dropping to the 30s and 40s.
Tomorrow will be the warmest day of the week, with afternoon highs climbing into the 80s across the region. Take advantage of the warmth because changes are coming!
We'll start cooling down on Saturday as the high pressure exits and a low pressure moves in. Expect cloudy skies with highs in the 70s.
Winds will be noticeably breezy through the afternoon and cloud cover will increase through the day.Â
The low pressure system brings us near normal on Sunday with highs in the low to mid 60s. There’s also a slight chance of light showers, so you might want to plan accordingly for Mother’s Day.
Enjoy the rest of your Thursday!
