Variably cloudy skies and a few passing showers
Nothing overwhelming will occur this week as far as the forecast is concerned. The normal high temperature for middle to late May should be around the upper 60s, that will be close to what we expect after Tuesday. We are still being impacted by cooler than normal weather tomorrow, even though we will see a bit more sunshine. Winds will be from the southwest but still not providing much of a warmup.
Wednesday will be near normal with highs in the low 70s most locations in the High Desert. Late in the day there will be some cloud cover ahead of some light rain overnight. The rain will pass through and clear the region around sunrise Thursday.
After the light rain in the morning Thursday, there will be partly cloudy skies and temperatures in the middle 60s
Not much of a change in the overall sky conditions this weekend, but there will be about a ten-degree bump from Saturday to Sunday. Sunny and almost warm weather is on the docket for Sunday as the mercury hits 80 in some spots.
Slight chance for some light rain arrives on Monday, but Central Oregon will still be in the middle 70s.
