Gradually warming into the 90s for the weekend

Our very stagnant upper level pattern will stay put for the remainder of the week. Highs today will be in the low to mid 70s. Look for temperatures to gradually increase heading into the weekend. This weekend will be hot, in the 80s and low to mid 90s. Normal for this time of year is in the low 70s, so we’ll be clocking in at about 20 degrees above that this weekend.

You might notice some haze today through Deschutes County, specifically near Sisters, due to prescribed burning. Air quality isn’t expected to be too poor, but be cautious if you are sensitive to the smoke. Winds will blow at around 20mph this afternoon from the north-northwest.

Otherwise, quiet conditions for the remainder of the week. Dry and sunny weather will bring a string of beautiful days to spend outdoors. Continue to be careful near bodies of water, as they are a bit chilly this early in the season.
