Junior Forecaster: Weather forecaster with a green thumb

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Lucy helped John Carroll with the weather forecast on Wednesday as our Junior Forecaster.

She has a keen interest in the weather, as she is growing a garden in her backyard. She is very proud of her black Dakota Corn and Pink Ladies. It is a fun hobby, but a lot of work, as she has to make sure her crops are properly watered.

Lucy is a fourth-grade student at Three Rivers School and enjoys art and science. When she is not tending to her garden, she enjoys cooling off in the pool at her grandparents' house. Might need to keep cool this weekend, according to her forecast.
