CVS to Acquire Three Rite Aid Locations in Central Oregon, Transitioning to CVS Pharmacies

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — CVS Health announced plans to acquire and operate three Rite Aid locations in Central Oregon, located at 1900 NE 3rd Street in Bend and 1514 SW Highland Avenue in Redmond, as well as the location in Prineville.

The transactions are expected to close following regulatory approvals and other standard closing conditions.

If approved, the Bend location will officially transition to a CVS Pharmacy on September 29, while the Redmond location will make the switch the day before, on September 28. The Prineville location would also transition in September. Once the transactions are finalized, all three stores will open as CVS pharmacies the day following the closures.

CVS Health emphasized that the changeover will be seamless for patients. Prescription records will be transferred automatically, and patients will not need to take any action to continue receiving their medications.
