Mt. Bachelor Opens for Summer Activities, Kicking Off Season with Live Music, BBQ, and Scenic Views

(Update: Adding video)

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) — Mt. Bachelor is officially open for summer activities today, June 26, with clear blue skies setting the stage for an exciting season. The resort will celebrate with live music from Snowcreek, a BBQ on the West Village Lodge deck, and complimentary beer tokens (while supplies last) from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

"It's a gorgeous day to kick off the season," said Presley Quon, Communications & Community Relations Manager at Mt. Bachelor. "The trails are riding really well, we had some snow and rain last week, and the trail crew has been out every day shaping and fine-tuning the berms, so the dirt is going to be nice."

Guests can enjoy daily operations on Little Pine and Pine Marten lifts, offering mountain biking, scenic chairlift rides, Sunset Dinners, and sightseeing. For the latest information on Bike Park trail offerings, lift operating hours, as well as new policy updates and advisories, visitors can check the Mountain Report.
