Hot temperatures and mostly sunny skies, normal summer conditions

Bend, OR (KTVZ) -

Temperatures today and tomorrow will be in the mid 80s and low 90s under mostly sunny skies. Generally, today will be a quiet summer day perfect for sitting by the water and soaking up some sun.

Tomorrow, storms are expected to develop further south but stay clear of Central Oregon. A Fire Weather Watch has been released for Klamath and Lake County Thursday, which will likely be upgraded to a warning as we get closer to that time frame.

Although portions of Central Oregon are under the “general risk” category for storms tomorrow, there isn’t a whole bunch indicating we’ll actually see any action. Keep an eye out for any potential rogue thunderstorms Thursday afternoon, but chances are slim.

Otherwise, quiet conditions heading into the weekend. Temperatures this weekend will be in the warm 80s and skies will be mostly sunny. Plan for typical Central Oregon summer weather.

Have a wonderful Wednesday!
