Junior Forecaster Kaysen, a meteorologist in the making

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- Kayson has a passion for weather and wants to pursue a career as a meteorologist. Heading to Sky View Middle School this fall, he finds the science of meteorology fascinating and loves to study all types of weather events.

Kayson is especially interested in forecasting natural disasters, more specifically flooding. He knows that one of the most important aspects of being a forecaster is that you get to warn people about upcoming weather dangers and wants to keep people safe.

Kayson is also a soccer player and enjoys playing goalie. We wish him well as he chases his dream of becoming a meteorologist. His forecast today was spot on, so he seems to be well on his way.
