A sunny start to the work week, warming ahead

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Afternoon highs are topping out in the mid 70s to low 80s today, running a little cooler than normal. Most of us will stay dry, but storms are expected farther east, though I can’t rule out a stray shower or storm here in Central Oregon late today.

Overnight lows will drop into the 40s and 50s under partly cloudy skies.

Clouds, rain, and cooler temperatures gave us a hint of fall this weekend, but the next few days will bring back a much more summer-like feel.

High pressure builds in Monday, bringing warming temperatures and much quieter conditions. Highs tomorrow climb into the low to mid 80s here in Central Oregon.

Tuesday and Wednesday stay sunny with highs in the mid 80s, right about average for this time of year. Highs return to the 90s late in the work week, along with very dry conditions.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
