Quiet week ahead with warm temperatures and sunshine

Bend, OR (KTVZ) -

Afternoon highs will be normal today, topping out in the upper 70s and low 80s. Look for a few passing clouds above and an afternoon breeze.

Overnight, lows will drop into the 40s and 50s.

Temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s through mid week and skies will be mostly sunny. After some much needed weekend rain, a drier pattern is taking over as a ridge of high pressure begins building into the region. The ridge will build further north through the second half of the work week. A warming trend will bring temperatures back into the 90s for the upcoming weekend.

In other words, a relatively quiet and warm week ahead for all your back to school errands and end-of-summer trips.

Have a happy Monday!
