The Big Playback 9/12 Pt. 1: Bend High holds off Springfield in Heroes/alumni game; Caldera falls to 0-2; Redmond runs its way to a win

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)- The Bend High Lava Bears had their first home game tonight. The Lava Bears honoring Heroes and Alumni before the game began. Bend High were up 28-0 at the end of the first half and ended up in an overtime thriller. They beat Springfield 34-28.

Caldera early season woes continue. The Wolfpack has struggled to find any momentum on the offensive side of the ball, they fell to West Albany 33-6.

Redmond is 2-1 after a 21-7 win over Pendleton. The Panthers ran the ball well all night and it helped them secure the win as they head into league play.
