Warm and dry Sunday before cooler weather arrives

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) - Happy Saturday! It may be the first weekend of fall, but it’s still feeling like summer with warmer than normal temperatures.

Overnight lows will fall into the 40s under partly cloudy skies.

Expect the warm and dry conditions through Sunday, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. Winds should stay light today but will pick up slightly tomorrow.

Late Sunday we’ll notice an increase in cloud cover. This comes ahead of the cooler pattern setting up as we head into the work week. A unsettled weather pattern will move in with streams of Pacific moisture moving into the region.

Expect mostly cloudy skies Monday, with highs in the upper 60s and periods of rain on and off through the day.

A few light showers are possible in spots Tuesday, with highs staying in the 60s. More light to moderate showers are expected on Wednesday.

We remain cool and cloudy on Thursday with a few scattered showers possible. We clear from the rain on Friday as we warm up into the 70s under partly cloudy skies.

Enjoy your weekend!
