Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese restaurant closes at Bend’s Cascade Village Shopping Center

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ) -- A local comfort-food spot, Meltz Extreme Grilled Cheese at Bend’s Cascade Village Shopping Center, has posted via its social-media pages that the location has permanently closed.

The sandwich-centric eatery, which had opened in late 2023, had been known for creative grilled cheese sandwiches and made-from-scratch sauces and dressings.

On the doors of the building, the Cascade Village Shopping Center Ownership have posted a notice of restaurant's closure and add they're quote: "Excited for what's next for the space."

All though the doors are locked, many of the fixtures and furniture from Meltz are still inside

KTVZ News reached out to the owners through their social channels for comment on the reasons behind the shutdown, and are currently awaiting a response.
