A last push of rain today before drier and quieter weather returns for the weekend

Bend, OR (KTVZ) -

Rain totals for the week are generally between 0.20-0.40”. Today is the last little push of wet weather before we see drier and quieter conditions this weekend. Rain totals today aren’t expected to exceed a tenth of an inch in most areas.

Rain is on a brief pause this morning but our next system will move in and bring scattered showers beginning in the mid to late afternoon. Rain will taper off overnight. There is a slight chance for a stray shower early Friday, but it’ll be dry for most. Clouds will clear out Friday afternoon.

Winds will be on the gusty side again today, but not nearly as strong as yesterday. Winds will gust between 20-30mph, but could reach near 35mph in a few areas.

As winds settle and the rain stops, we’ll likely see a foggy morning by Saturday, and maybe some frosted windshields in a few areas as well.

Otherwise, the weekend should be partly cloudy and dry with temperatures in the 50s and lower 60s.

Happy Thursday! Have a nice day.
