Bend Police introduce Sanford, a new therapy K9 to support officers and community

BEND, Ore. (KTVZ)-- The Bend Police Department is welcoming a new four-legged member to the force.

In a video posted Monday night on Facebook, the department introduced Sanford, a therapy dog trained to detect stress and provide emotional support. Police say Sanford will assist not only officers but also crime victims and members of the community during difficult situations.
