Skjersaa’s Partners with Latitude 44 for Winter Rentals During Store Relocation
BEND, Ore. — Skjersaa’s, one of Bend’s longest-running names in the ski and snowboard community, will partner with Latitude 44 this winter for tuning and rental services as the shop continues its relocation process.
In April, the locally owned shop announced on Instagram that it would be moving after failing to reach a new lease agreement with its landlord. The decision prompted a temporary pause in its traditional operations while the business works toward opening a new space. Skjersaa’s says it intends to resume offering its full lineup of winter sports gear at its new location in 2026.

In an update shared on its website, the shop said the transition has prompted them to “offer our services in a new way.” That includes teaming up with Latitude 44.
“Making changes can be tough. After a great deal of soul searching we have decided to take a break and retool the business. With the relocation we found a need to offer our services in a new way,” the statement reads. “We have partnered with Latitude 44… for Winter tuning and rentals. It is still Skjersaa’s but presented by Latitude 44 who have been long-time partners in the snow business.”
While the ski and snowboard side of the business operates in partnership with Latitude 44 this winter, Skjersaa’s cycling arm - Sagebrush Cycles - will continue operating independently. Sagebrush remains open at the company’s developing space at 9th Street and Wilson Avenue, serving riders year-round.
Skjersaa’s has been part of the Central Oregon outdoor community for decades, and the shop says the temporary adjustments are part of a long-term plan to come back stronger once the move is complete.
