Showers begin Thursday with increasing chances for rain into the weekend
Bend, OR (KTVZ) -
It is a chilly and frosty start. You can plan for cool and dry conditions through the day. Highs will be in the low to mid 40s under partly cloudy skies.
The timing of the incoming rain has been moved up a bit and the possibility for a few light showers on Thursday has become more likely. It won’t be a wash out, but you could be running into light rain here and there.
The region will see increasing chances for rain on Friday. Rain will be light to moderate midday Friday. Showers become mostly mountainous Friday night.
Light showers will fall along 97 early Saturday before becoming mostly mountain mixed showers once again through Sunday. There is only a slight chance for a stray shower in the high desert on Sunday. Wet weather will briefly pause in Central Oregon Monday before beginning again Tuesday.
Unfortunately for all the snow lovers, temperatures this week will be mild so you’ll have to hold out on the snow a little while longer. The mountains will see a mixture of snow and rain, but it’s looking pretty wet versus wintry.
Look for highs to be in the upper 40s and low to mid 50s into next week.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.
